What is the difference between Refurbished Toners and Refilled Toners?

Many at times, clients are confused between different quality of toners. Some clients will just focus on price without knowing that they are different grades of toners. Many of the toners suppliers out there offer refilled toners, but selling as refurbished toners. For refurnished toners, it goes through our thorough process of re-engineering to disassemble the entire toner catridge. Afterwhich, we will replace each and every part except the main toner catridge housing. As such, important parts like drums, blades, gears are being fully replaced with new. You may also like to know that we are using high quality drums from Japan. Therefore, OMEIO toners are able to give stable high quality print outs.

A refilled catridge is nothing more than pouring powder into the used catridge without any cleaning. The drums and all required parts are not being replaced, which will result in poor quality prints. Unfortunately, this has contributed a very bad reputation to the industry.

What is Original Toners?

Original toners are being manufactured by the same company that made the printer. This is their main profit generator.

By using remanfactured toner void my warranty?

Major printer manufacturers normally sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from the toners. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their original toners.

By using remanufactured toners, you are cutting into their primary source of profit. As such, many will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible toners. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so, they cannot void your warranty simply for using compatible or remanufactured toners.

According to HP, the use of a refilled toner does not affect the warranty unless failure or damage is attributable to it. This is typical of all manufacturers' warranties. Keep in mind that the toner does not touch any part of the printer or internal parts other than the catridge and print head. The catridge is applied to the paper as the paper is fed through the printer.
