Infrared Remote Controls

2184: IR Breakout Block

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2184 IR Breakout Block allows local IR access on DA-550 and DA-8200 distribution amplifiers. The distribution amplifiers have a three-pin power connector. One of the connector's pins supplies the IR remote control signals received from IR targets connected to the amplifier. Attach the Model 2184 to the amplifier's power connector and up to four IR emitters may be connected directly to the Model 2184. To power the amplifier, the power supply transformer connects to the power jack on the Model 2184.

2181: IR Coupler

Brand:
Channel Plus

Use the Model 2181 IR Coupler to send IR control signals from one DA-550 or DA-8200 to another DA-550 or DA-8200. Using a master DA-550 or DA-8200 and adding up to eight slave units, IR control signals will not be passed from master units to the slave units unless a Model 2181 is used at each slave DA-550 or DA-8200 panel. The Model 2181 allows each TV with a target that is connected to the slave unit, to send IR signals back to the audio/video devices connected to the master DA-550 or DA-8200.

2172: Dual-head IR Emitter

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2172 Dual-head IR Emitter connects to a video hub, 2100A and 2010 in-wall interface, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to a video hub. The emitter will repeat the IR remote control signals received at an IR Target that were sent back through the coax cable to two video source components. Each Model 2172 IR emitter has adhesive backing to allow sticking the emitter over the IR sensor on the faceplate of the video source component.

2171-4: Single-head IR Emitter

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2171-4 Single-head Infrared (IR) Emitters are supplied in a package of four and are used with the Model ENC-HUB Audio Distribution System, ENC-SIWP source input or ENC-LIWP local input wall plates. These generic emitters can also be used with Linear’s video hubs, 2100A and 2010 in-wall interface, or with a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to a video hub.

2171: Single-head IR Emitter

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2171 Single-head IR Emitter connects to a video hub, 2100A and 2010 in-wall interface, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to a video hub. The emitter will repeat the IR remote control signals received at an IR Target that were sent back through the coax cable to the video source component. The Model 2171 IR emitter has adhesive backing to allow sticking the emitter over the IR sensor on the faceplate of the video source component.

2133: 5-volt Set-top IR Target

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2133 5-volt Set-top IR Target incorporates infrared remote control into a video distribution system. The Model 2133 connects between the video distribution hub and the television set. When IR remote control signals are received by the target, they are inserted into the coax cable and sent back to the video hub. IR emitters connected to the video hub, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to the video hub, will repeat the IR remote control signals back to the video source component.

2132: 12-volt Set-top Target with Talk Back LED

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2132 12-volt Set-top Target with Talk Back LED is a set-top IR target that connects to the Model 2100A In-wall IR Interface. When IR remote control signals are received by the target, they are inserted by the Model 2100A into the coax cable and sent back to the video hub. IR emitters connected to the video hub, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to the video hub, will repeat the IR remote control signals back to the video source component.

2131: 12-volt In-wall Target with Talk Back LED

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2131 12-volt In-wall IR Target with Talk Back LED is a J-box IR target that connects to the Model 2100A In-wall IR Interface through three wires. When IR remote control signals are received by the target, they are inserted by the Model 2100A into the coax cable and sent back to the video hub. IR emitters connected to the video hub, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to the video hub, will repeat the IR remote control signals back to the video source component.

2130A: 12-volt Mini IR Target with Talk Back LED

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2130A 12-volt Mini IR Target with Talk Back LED is a set-top IR target that connects to the Model 2100A In-Wall IR Interface. When IR remote control signals are received by the target, they are inserted by the Model 2100A into the coax cable and sent back to the video hub. IR emitters connected to the video hub, or to a 5500 series IR enabled modulator connected to the video hub, will repeat the IR remote control signals back to the video source component.

2100A: 12-volt In-wall IR Interface

Brand:
Channel Plus

The Model 2100A 12-volt In-wall IR Interface is used with the 12 volt DA-550BID and DA-550HHR distribution panels to allow IR control from any room on the system. The 2100A is bi-directional and can input as well as output IR information. The Model 2100A will accept any 12 volt target using the input jack or three wire screw terminal. Hint: when using a 12 volt IR system and 2100A's are not at all locations a DC block, Model 2501, must be used on the coax.
